  14. dBCoin for Windows is a shareware software product.  DBCO1N.EXE is a
  15. self-extracting file containing the compressed files required to use dBCoin
  16. for Windows.  DBCO1N.EXE was created using the software program LHA (Copyright
  17. 1990-1991 by Haruyasu Yoshizaki).  Individual users may copy this program and
  18. share it with friends.

  20. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:  IBM PC or compatible 80286, 386 or 486 with 2 MB RAM, a
  21. hard drive and Microsoft Windows 3.0 or higher.  Program supports mouse and
  22. keyboard.

  24.                              DETAILED DESCRIPTION

  26. dBCoin for Windows is a coin collection inventory system designed for the
  27. hobbyist.  Your coin collection information can be stored in one or more files
  28. with each file containing an unlimited number of records.  Information about
  29. each coin can include:  country, catalog number, type, denomination, mint
  30. date, grade, purchase date, cost, market value and comments.

  32. dBCoin provides intuitive data entry, edit and browse features.  Coin
  33. information can be added, changed or deleted.  Use dBCoin's powerful query
  34. feature to browse through the database.  All information is sorted and indexed
  35. (except comments) to provide quick access.  Coin information can be displayed
  36. on screen or in printed reports.

  38. dBCoin is a Windows application.  The program will not work outside the
  39. Windows operating system.

  41. This is NOT free software.  This is NOT public domain software.  dBCoin for
  42. Windows is a shareware software product.  You are expected to pay a $24.95
  43. registration fee plus shipping and handling to the author if you find it
  44. useful.  Registered users receive the latest version of the program, a printed
  45. User's Guide, free technical support and notification of program updates and
  46. upgrades.  A registration form is included in the program.

  65.                        INSTALLATION AND UNPACKING PROGRAM

  68. Copying DBCO1N.EXE to a hard drive is recommended before unpacking.  Window's
  69. File Manager can be used to install the program.  Use the following procedure
  70. after starting File Manager:
  71.  
  72.       1. Select Create Directory from the File menu.  Enter the directory name
  73.          and location (if different then current drive).  (Example: \DBCOIN)
  74.  
  75.       2. Select source disk drive (A or B) containing DBCO1N.EXE.  Select
  76.          DBCO1N.EXE from the list of files.  Select Copy from the File menu. 
  77.          Enter new directory name created in #1 and press Enter.
  78.  
  79.       3. Select drive containing DBCO1N.EXE.  Select new directory created in
  80.          #1.  Select DBCO1N.EXE and press Enter.

  82. dBCoin will now be unpacked in the new directory.  Refer to the User's Guide
  83. (DBCOIN.DOC) for instructions on adding dBCoin to an application group.  The
  84. dBCoin icon will appear on the screen after the program is added to an
  85. application group.
